FAQs

  • Walk-In Policy

All visits are by appointment only. We do not accept walk-in appointments. Please do not show up to the office without a scheduled appointment, as our front desk staff may be assisting the doctor and will be unable to help you. To book an appointment, please contact us ahead of time.

  • Billing and Insurance:

To maintain our focus on providing personalized and accessible care, our practice is out-of-network with all insurance companies. We do not bill insurance directly. For your convenience and to ensure a smooth visit, payment for services is due prior to or at the time of your appointment. You can pay ahead of time through our secure website when you book your visit. We are committed to transparent pricing, and all of our service fees are discussed clearly with you upfront. We can also provide you with a detailed superbill, which contains the necessary codes and information for you to submit a claim to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your specific out-of-network benefits.

    Important Note on Medicare:

Please be aware that our practice does not participate in the Medicare program. This is a federal regulation that, by law, prevents us from providing care to any patient with Medicare coverage. We are legally prohibited from providing services and patients cannot submit our claims to Medicare for reimbursement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and recommend finding a provider who participates in Medicare.

  • Your doctor may order lab testing or imaging as part of your care. We partner with labs and imaging centers that provide transparent, affordable, cash-based pricing to help you save money and avoid surprise bills.

Lab Tests: For your convenience, you can purchase all lab tests directly through our practice. We provide clear, upfront pricing and handle the billing for you.

Imaging: We will refer you to one of our trusted partners for imaging services (such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans), who also offer transparent, upfront pricing.

While you always have the option to try and use your insurance, we cannot provide an estimate of what you will pay, as this is determined by your specific plan. Our cash-based options are designed to keep your healthcare costs simple and clear.

For more details on available lab tests and pricing, please visit our Lab Testing & Pricing page or Contact Us directly for more information on available labs and pricing.

  • We offer a range of general medical services to support your health goals, but we are not a primary care provider (PCP). Your PCP is essential for managing your long-term health, addressing a broad spectrum of medical needs, and coordinating your overall care.

We believe in a collaborative approach to medicine and work closely with many primary care physicians to provide specialized services. Our lifestyle medicine programs and lifestyle change programs, for example, are designed to complement the care you receive from your PCP. We encourage you to maintain a strong and ongoing relationship with your primary care provider.

  • If you are ever unsure whether your symptoms constitute a medical emergency, it is always best to err on the side of caution. Please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 immediately if you experience any of the following:

    • Severe or sudden headache, especially if accompanied by confusion, dizziness, or a stiff neck
